4:30-5:45pm: Neustadt Jurors read from their work and sign books: Threa Almontaser, Maya Arad, Polina Barskova, Victoria Chang, Elisabeth Jaquette, Beena Kamlani, Shereen Malherbe, Iheoma Nwachukwu, and Alejandro Puyana. Books provided by Green Feather Book Company. (Scholars Room, OMU 315)
6-8pm: Neustadt Night at the OMU: Greetings by Nancy Barcelo from the Neustadt family, Kathy Neustadt’s announcement of the 2026 Neustadt Prize laureate, remarks by Cherie Dimaline, and book signings by participating writers (Beaird Lounge)

10:30-11:00am: Dance performance adapted from Cherie Dimaline’s The Marrow Thieves, choreographed by Alma Borges, with music by Ioannis Andriotis and costume design by Cesia Farfán. Co-sponsored by the Norman Arts Council and the OU School of Dance (Molly Shi Boren Ballroom, OMU 301)
11:00am-12:00pm: “From Folklore to Dystopia: We’re Always Writing the Future” – Cherie Dimaline’s keynote followed by Q&A with the audience (Ballroom)
