3:00-4:15pm: Ananda Devi in conversation with Dr. Andreea Marculescu from OU’s Department of Women’s and Gender Studies, discussing gender relationships in her work and in fiction generally (Scholars Room, Oklahoma Memorial Union 315)

4:30-5:30pm: Making the Film The Children of Troumaron: A discussion with director Harrikrisna Anenden and screenwriter/producer Ananda Devi (Scholars Room)

7:00-8:30pm: Neustadt Night at the Union: Kathy Neustadt announces the winner of the 2025 NSK Neustadt Prize for Children’s and Young Adult Literature, plus book signings by Devi, the NSK jurors, and other visiting writers (Beaird Lounge, Oklahoma Memorial Union 201)

9:30-10:45am: “Understanding the Work of Ananda Devi”: Kazim Ali, Julie–Françoise Tolliver, and Jeffrey Zuckerman take part in a roundtable discussion moderated by Will Evans (Molly Shi Boren Ballroom, Oklahoma Memorial Union 301)

11:00am-12:15pm: Readings by the 2025 NSK Prize Jury: Nidhi Chanani, Susan Fletcher, Guadalupe García McCall, Varian Johnson, Magdalena Mora, Kate Rafiq, Sabaa Tahir, and Lauren Tamaki read from their work and sign books (Ballroom)

1:30-4:30pm: A Workshop on Translation by Kazim Ali (Crimson Room, Oklahoma Memorial Union 156) [by application only]

Free parking will be available in the union parking garage on Asp Avenue on Wednesday evening from 6-9pm.
